Bubba's Watson Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ

Recently Bubba Watson took the prize of the champion for 2012 Masters. In few words, when he was given the microphone, Bubba expressed his thankfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ, his savior. This video eventually went viral on the Internet, but in the comment sections creates a dilemma between those who believe and those who don't. People express their hate toward Bubba calling him moron, other expressed hate towards religion in general. But on the other side, religion people wrote something against evolution and atheism, interesting comments to read and see what is said about Bubba's faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; people are more talking about his faith than his actual achievement as a golfer.

One of the comments that got my attention was by the nickname: "Bennythebearful." This person said, "I think his comment about my lord and saviour shows that Bubba is mentally ill." Now is he? Is Bubba a person who is mentally ill?

First of all, that is a harsh statement. It is rude to call someone who has a normal mind, mentally ill. Wikipedia defines mental illness as someone who has"a psychological pattern, potentially reflected in behavior, that is generally associated with distress or disability, and which is not considered [to be] part of [the] normal development of a person's culture." Christianity, the faith in God considered to be a normal belief in the United States. Even the president of our country said, "Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection are far more important to him right now" as he was speaking on prayer breakfast event.

To say someone is mentally ill on a mentally healthy person would be casting dirt on his character, his life. For example, I have a younger brother, who loved a girl, he was crazy about her. But, her family didn't approved their dating. So what happened, someone through out a phrase that he was mentally ill. And it worked, sadly. I know this person twenty five years, never, NEVER in my mind had a though that my younger brother was mentally ill. So I would consider a rude statement from Bannythebearful towards Bubba Watson.

When we talking about Jesus Christ, we have to ask ourselves: who was he? Was he invented by people? That's the common answer we get today. No matter where we look, there is more evidence to believe that Christ is a historical figure, who was a real person, than a made up figure. "Most contemporary scholars agree that Jesus was a Jew who was regarded as a teacher and healer, that he was baptized by John the Baptist, and was crucified in Jerusalem on the orders of the Roman Prefect of Judaea, Pontius Pilate, on the charge of sedition against the Roman Empire." Titus Flavius Josephus, a known historian, contributed to the New Testament Backgrounds. He wrote about, Herod the Great and His Family; Roman Emperors; Claudius; Nero; Pontius Pilate; Antoninus Felix; and Jesus Christ. Which all are written by the authors of the Gospels. Josephus writes,
"Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew over to him both many of the Jews and many of the Gentiles. He was [the] Christ. And when Pilate, at the suggestion of the principal men among us, had condemned him to the cross, those that loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day, as the divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousand other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians, so named for him, are not extinct at this day"
Which is clearly stated from the outside source that Jesus, as a person, existed!

What Christ offers, no one can offer, it is an eternal life. "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him" (John 3:36). We can clearly understand that there is God, who will pore out his wrath on those who do not believe in his Son Jesus Christ. People can say Bubba is mentally ill, but in reality, he has eternal life. Which is more important: the faith in Jesus Christ (with that be called mentally ill)? Or the wrath from the real God, and think that those who believe in Christ are morons?

Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scripture

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures ,  that he was buried , that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,   and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.  Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.   Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.   Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.   For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.   But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.   Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.  (1 Corinthians 15:3)

The Last Moments of Christopher Hitchens life

Christopher Hitchens is one of the leading atheist of our times, they call it the new atheism now.  He also is the author of a book, “God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything,” that was just recently released; heavily opposing religion and any idea that God exist.  But right now Mr Hitchens is in his last stages of the esophageal cancer.  The New Your Time describes his last moments of life like this: “Some of these articles were written with the full consciousness that they might be my very last. Sobering in one way and exhilarating in another, this practice can obviously never become perfected.”  Another words, Hitchens has little time left. Smoking and drinking was something that Hitchens needed to quit, life was more important then the pleasures of these habits, not mentioning that he had a feeding tube installed since June.  He had power in articulating his worldview to others, the ideas, but were these thoughts the reality of our world? You could notice that Mr Hi

The Goodness of God and the Presence of Evil

Often skeptics of the Bible, pose a question: If God were all-powerful, he would have had ability to prevent evil. If God were all-good, he would have desired to prevent evil. So if God were both all-powerful and all good, there would have been no evil. But there is evil. Therefore, an all-powerful and all-good God does not exist. How can such a God exist, since there are so many children who are murdered every day? How can this God exist, when innocent girls get raped? The matter to be told, everyone has his own definition of evil. For example, some would say, murdering children after they are born is evil, yet murdering children while the baby is still in the womb is not. In fact, killing babies inside of a mother’s womb has been legalized and become socially accepted. Definition of Evil Most people who attempt to answer the problem of evil, define evil according to their own experiences. Overtime, a perspective on the definition of evil is formed, and most people reject
