“God’s will or my Will?”

This question arises no less as boy’s and girl’s approach their adolescence, a step that they might not be prepared in their life; at the same time, this question remains obscure in the older generation, Christians who have been walking with the Lord for quite a wile now.  However, some Christians interpret God’s will by their dreams, thinking that God communicates signs.  I don't know what technics are being used to interpret these dream, but some how they get a sense of understanding in what God wants to communicate.  Others wait for super natural activity in order to understand the will of God; eventually from the side, it just looks like these people are waiting for a voice from heaven in order to clarifying, or more accurately , confirming what they already decided in their mind.    Don't get me wrong, as Christians, it is normal to seek the will of God; it is actually one of the things Christians are instructed to do when they have a need, letting God know everything

Fuzzy feelings or a true love at Valentine's Day?

In the Whatcom Community College newspaper, the heading caught my attention as it said: "Love, or Something Like it."  Brianna Kuplent writes an article to motivate others in order to show more love on Valentines Day instead of waiting for presents.  She writes "[Most] people ask others what they received for Valentine's Day instead of just enjoying the day and being in love" (5).  She is correct in making this observation, people are more excited to receive gifts and flowers on Valentine's day than to give. There’s nothing wrong with being excited, unless it is based on a shallow fuzzy feeling, and not on true love. Kuplent's mistake is that she doesn't define love in her article and probably has no idea what it means, at least concluding this from my school friends' answer when I asked them to define love.  So, can we have a firm understanding of what love is, or is it one of the gray areas leaving us without an answer?   The legend behind Va

"Can a Christian Think?

There are 206 bones and not including joints, arteries, and nerves to be memorized. The pressure increases as the clock is ticking, I have twelve hours before the test; the thoughts are should I continue studying all night or just wake up early in the morning and continue--with all that, I have one of the nerves that is under my eye that would not stop twitching; it's dark in the room and the only things I could see is under my lamp. And then it happens, my none human friend decides to visit me. I am not going to describe what we talked about, but he died ten minutes later. The cause of death is not known, and the funeral proceeded after his death.   With all that introduction, l was suppressed to see the structure of this "friend," if this is something that I could say. It shows that design, wisdom, and power behind this creation. I guess, as a human, I will never grasp the the full glory of His wisdom.  I don't know how school could push a person away from God.

Why Have a Blog?

As I live my life, I see so mach hate and evil in the world, which that makes me question, why do people do what they do?  The only objective answer that I could find, would be in the book that I read, I am talking about the Bible.  But wait, the Bible? isn't that an old book and isn't that book that was written by others who live more then two thousand year ago? Yes, that would be true, but that's not all, they wrote it because they had a revelation from God.  There are two world views that explain our life:  One is the philosophical (which constantly changing), and second would be God's word from the Bible.  Two perspective that are trying to identify the meaning of life.  For example, both are trying to explain in how the world came to be; both world views are trying to give us the meaning in life.  However, they are both totally different in what they have to say. Now, if we look at the world, there are laws that guide our life; no way, we as humans, can change th
